Mastering Communication - Infographic

The Problem:

Leaders across the organization needed practical, accessible resources to support a Mastering Communication series. Complex communication concepts, particularly around generational and cultural barriers, needed to be distilled into something managers could reference quickly and apply in real situations.

My Role:

I designed and produced this infographic as part of the broader Mastering Communication for Leadership series, handling the concept, visual layout, graphics, and content structure from start to finish.

My Thinking:

Infographics work best when they reduce cognitive load while increasing retention. I organized the content around clear visual categories, used a consistent color system to differentiate barrier types, and kept language concise so leaders could scan and absorb the key points without reading a wall of text.

The Outcome:

The infographic served as a performance support tool within the series, giving leaders a quick reference they could return to after the training. It reinforced key concepts from the broader communication curriculum and helped managers apply barrier awareness in their day-to-day interactions with their teams.
